JKA Arizona Tuition Rates

Effective September 1, 2025 • No Contracts • Tuition is Paid Monthly

Individual Lessons

Starter Package – NEW STUDENTS ONLY!
Individuals: $49 First Month Only. Includes a Medium Weight Karate Uniform.

Monthly Tuition:

• Individuals: $85 per month

Families: (up to three) $125 per month

• Add $25 for each additional family member.

Individual Private Lesson $75 Per one class

• Private Lessons: by appointment for in-person or online: Priority is for current or former students. Prospective new students will be interviewed In Person, FaceTime or Email to give a sense whether our training will meet your needs and our goals are mutual. If accepted a Karate resume & application to be filled out.

Package of 4 Private Lessons for just $260

• Private Lessons: by appointment for in-person or online: Priority is for current or former students. Prospective new students will be interviewed In Person, FaceTime or Email to give a sense whether our training will meet your needs and our goals are mutual. If accepted a Karate resume & application to be filled out.
• One  (1) Class per week for four (4) consecutive weeks. Plus, enjoy access to any of our regular group classes during your private lesson month. Spots are limited – reserve yours today!

JKA / JKA Arizona

• $45.00 Annual Membership Fee: Are based a calendar year. Renewals are in November for the next calendar year. Families $5 off per membership $40 ea.

Kyu / Color Belt Rank Exams are $45 per exam.

• Families testing together receive $5 off per exam.
• Tuition, initiation and membership fees, once paid are non-refundable.
• Tuition is due on or before the 1st of the month. A late fee of $20 will be charged if payment is not received by the 5th of the month. Cash or Check is preferred method of payment. Credit Cards an additional $5.00 will be added to tuition.

Group Lessons

• $260 for 4 lessons (One class per week for four consecutive weeks)
• Includes access to regular group classes during the same period.

Individual Private Lesson:

• $75 per one class

Appointment Details:

• By appointment for in-person or online sessions.
• Priority for current or former students.
• Prospective new students require an interview (in-person, FaceTime, or email).
• Accepted students must complete a karate résumé and application.

Additional Information

Payment Terms:

• Tuition is due on or before the 1st of the month.
• A $20 late fee will apply if payment is not received by the 5th.
• Preferred payment methods: Cash or Check. Credit Cards accepted as monthly autopay.

Membership Fees:

• JKA / JKA Arizona: $45 annual fee (based on a calendar year)
• Renewal in November for the upcoming year. Family discount: $5 per membership

Rank Exams:

• Kyu / Color Belt Exams: $45 per exam
• Family discount: $5 off per exam

Refund Policy:

• Tuition, initiation, and membership fees are non-refundable.
